About
Plex organizes all of your video, music, and photo collections, and gives you instant access to them on all of your devices. See plex.tv for more information.
Installation
Visit your Settings page and enable Plex, and then follow the instructions.
Note: You need to have a Plex.tv account. You can sign up here.
Configuration
Base configuration is almost entirely automatic. For creating libraries see the Plex.tv support article.
Please note that DLNA and "Enable local network discovery (GDM)" are disabled by default, and should remain disabled.
Plex guides and support can be accessed at the Plex Support page. Once Plex has been installed and requires authentication to access, Whatbox staff will be able to provide minimal assistance with its usage.
Updating
Visit your Settings page and select the Update button on the row labeled Plex. Your Plex Media Server will be updated to the latest version of the release channel that you have specified in Plex's configuration.
